The early morning sun allowed for this straight on light to work. It’s not too harsh yet that she can’t keep her eyes open. There is a tiny bit of butterfly lighting happening meaning the light is straight forward and a little bit above. See – the little shadow under her nose.

Applied Preset: Smal Wild 07, Decreased clarity by 17, increased contrast by 6, decreased shadows by 25, increased black clipping by 10.
Applied two radial filters around the entire picture that decreased clarity and sharpness to make only her face in focus.
For photographers, learning how to edit and use your camera is a long adventure that never ends. As I go I continue to learn every single day and new way to edit and I know I’ll continue to learn for the rest of my life. It’s actually one of my very favorite things about photography. The learning process could never ever end.
